My name is Rosanne McCorkle. I am so excited to teach Art for the seventh year at Greenbrier Elementary! This will be my ninth year teaching in Columbia County, I was previously at Baker Place Elementary & Cedar Ridge Elementary. I was born and raised in Jefferson County and graduated from Valdosta State University with a bachelor's in Art Education. My passion is to teach your child Art, open their eyes and minds to things they maybe did not think they could create. Building confidence, showing kindness, and relating art to everyday life. I want to give them another way of communicating and expressing themselves, making something of their own they can be proud of.

**On the days your student has Art, please be mindful we use a lot of different materials; paint, oil pastels, sharpie, clay, etc. Please try not to send your student in their nicest outfits for art class. I always have tshirts/smocks for the students to use if they want them.
