Our Class
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Greenbrier Elementary. I am so excited to get to know you and your child this year. Second grade is a time where students will continue to develop their reading comprehension skills, write in a variety of genres, extend their number sense understanding, learn about historical figures, and explore the world around them. It is going to be a great year!
About me
My name is Allison Lenartz. I am so excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This will be my 16th year teaching. I have taught kindergarten for 10 years and 1st grade for 4. My husband and I live in Evans with our daughter Stella, son Charlie, and dog Penny. I enjoy shopping, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
Education
In 2008, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. In 2009, I earned my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Augusta University. In 2022 I completed my math endorsement through the state of Georgia.
